One of the Bay Area’s original rock bands has developed a fantastic repertoire that spans the great music from 1962 to the present. Material is performed from the likes of Chuck Berry, Delbert McClinton, The Subdudes, John Hiatt, The Rolling Stones and many more. Of course we still have our own original stuff. Brad Kava wrote October 24, 2006 in the Mercury News regarding the Hall of Fame Concert the band performed in:
“This thing so surpassed my expectations that I’m looking forward to the next San Jose Rocks show, even if I’m unemployed and have to hold my finger up outside hoping for a miracle $100 ticket.
The Count Five and Syndicate of Sound gave credible performances, showing off the garage band sound that made them key one-hit wonders in the best garage band “Nuggets’’ album collection.
The New Arrivals were solid, but made me long to see pianist Tom Muller go wild with Chuck Berry.”

The New Arrivals performed at San Jose Rocks’ initial concert honoring the 60s legends of Silicon Valley Rock ‘n Roll. The date was October 20th at History Park in San Jose, California where the Hall of Fame will have its initial location. The Count Five, Syndicate of Sound, John Tristao of People and Jefferson Starship also performed. Check out sanjoserocks.org for details.

The New Arrivals thank Sal Valentino of the Beau Brummels and also the Groove Kings plus all who were involved with this great event the Saturday after Thanksgiving and everyone should plan to be at the next one…..guess when?????
